Genesis Energy

Genesis Energy commissioned a series of information panels for the entrance foyer at Huntly Power Station, using schematic diagrams to assist with describing the station and its operation to visitors ranging from primary school students to engineers.

ID8 produced three large-format printed acrylic panels, the largest at 3.5 metres long, and developed the technical illustrations to enable a visual understanding of a complex process, when explained to each of its intended audiences.

The work involved close collaboration with onsite engineers to simplify complex plant and processes without losing technical accuracy. The challenge was to achieve the right balance of clarity, accessibility and detail.
